The Rila Mountain
The Rila mountain, situated in the western parts of Bulgaria, will fascinate you with its magnificence and beauty. The impressive architectural complex of the Rila Monastery is nestling in the northwestern foothills of the Rila mountain. It is the biggest monastery in Bulgaria and a significant cultural monument. The Rila monastery boasts an incredibly rich and well-preserved decoration with murals and wood-carvings by self-taught masters. Nestling on the eastern slopes of the Rila mountain, the small resort town of Semkovo offers perfect conditions for winter sports and summer mountain hiking. Overall ti wouldn’t come back, we came to enjoy a spa, the only nice thing was the outside hot tub , spa was absolutely not enough, we had the standard rate and there was room for max 15 ppl while the hotel had 2000 people its absolutely unacceptable ...

I think this hotel has only one porpose : bulgarians for swimming pool. We were the only foregners there.
